Step 7 – Perform a post-upgrade-migration system check

Verify that the PME 8.2 system is configured correctly. Use the checklist below to do a system walk through. For each item in the checklist, make sure the system behaves the way you expect.

For example:

• Is all the information present?
• Are measurements being displayed and are they updating?
• Are reports running and returning the expected data?
• Are all devices configured and communicating?

Some of the new features in PME 8.2 need to be configured before they will provide the expected information or functions. Configuring these new features is not part of this document. Refer to the PME 8.2 user documentation and other product resources for information on configuring these features.
